Sitting In the Bleachers
I am horrified to learn that the Supreme Court has upheld Trumps travel ban. You better fasten your seat belt because his next move will be rounding up other groups that he doesn’t like. I have never posted about a vision that God showed me when Trump announced his run for the presidency. I have shared it with a few people but it was so bizarre that I decided not to share it with the general public. What I am about to say is very strange so I need to lay some background. Firstly, I knew nothing at all about Donald Trump other than his name. I don’t generally watch regular TV because it is not that interesting. As a result I knew really nothing about the man. When he announced his run for President, I began to see spirits that looked like frogs coming from his mouth. I did not understand what this could mean and the Holy Spirit said lying spirits. The great deceiver filled this man with lies. Over many years, I rarely watched TV but since I have retired we spend a great deal of time watching the news. The antics that were carried out in the race for the Presidency were mind boggling. I remember awakening in the morning and my husband would have the news on. Immediately, I would pray inwardly for peace and help to get through the day.
The behavior of this president was beyond comprehension. Everyday he would lie repeatedly and lie some more to cover his lies. I have had people say to me every politician lies. That is probably true but the level of lying in the heart of this man is beyond comprehension. Nearly every word he speaks is a lie. What is disturbing to me is that many good honest Christan people have jumped on the bandwagon and compromised their own beliefs by embracing this man who is operating in a spirit of deceit and destruction. We cannot compromise with the devil just to ensure that we as believers get our agenda in the government and run the government the way we think it should be run. This government is built up to be inclusive which gives us an atmosphere of acceptance. There are many things that go on in this country that I personally find very offensive and down right immoral but Christ did not call me to make people live according to my own standards but to live a life before others that demonstrates love and acceptance and allows Christ the freedom to work in all of our lives. God is our judge and it is not my place to judge others.
I am sure that many of you may be angered by what I have said about this President. Just remember that lying spirits flew from his mouth and poured throughout this land like a flood. Many are being deceived. I had long wondered how God would put America out of the game. We have always been a country to admire and be apart of. This has changed. America has been severed from the place of leadership in the world. We are now sitting on the bleachers shouting out commands that no one else is listening to. The rest of the world looks at us and wonders where on earth are we headed. We are failing in areas that we once were number one. The fall was so quickly that it is hard to grasp. When I heard that the Supreme Court has approved Trumps travel ban, I knew that we were doomed. I love our country. It allowed me to attend wonderful and blessed churches. It allowed me to seek out help whenever I needed. But in the past many years, I was greatly troubled about the way the poor, weak and uninsured were punished just for being poor. More and more people will suffer because they have no safety net. We used to care. Americans are some of the most gracious and kind people in the world. We have always tried to do the right thing for other people and other nations. Things we have done as a nation are not always best for the world. But we are the shining City on the Hill. God placed us where we could shine forth as a beacon of light to those in darkness. Now we are leading them into darkness.
David Wilkerson wrote a book many years ago on Bible prophecy. He called it Set the Trumpet to My Mouth. In the book he spoke of people being so financially blessed that they would turn their backs on God thinking that they did not need Him. They would not do it overtly but covertly not even realizing that their lives had become selfish and lacking in love. He talked about the younger generation and how they would be self absorbed. The middle generation is the same way. The word selfie to me speaks volumes. I can remember stepping aside so that my picture wasn't in everything. Wilkerson said that God had shown him that we would be taken over by wealth. This has happened. Wealth has not made us more compassionate but more greedy. Awe yes, we do our part for our society but we are unwilling to share if we must sacrifice. This extreme wealth has placed us as something desirable in the rest of the world. We have closed our eyes to those around us right here in America that cannot get medical care, cannot find a decent place to live and cannot at all step into the shoes of those about us. Instead, we have become critical and judgmental thinking that we need to be the ones who tell everyone else what to do.
Christ is coming back. We need to take up His mantel and tell this lost and dying world that Christ loves them. We need to do it in deed not just in word. I pray that as I shout from the bleachers my voice though weak will be heard. Wake up, Wake up, your redemption draweth nigh. This maybe the last time your voice will be heard. And this my friends is the Real Truth.
