Will Truth Win Out and Whose Truth Will That Be?
Today the world is full of people who think they have a corner on truth. Each struggles with their own particular interpretation and their own unique insight.  I have no corner on truth.  I do not claim a particular insight.  I can only proclaim what I believe to be right and true.  I base my observations on the outcome.  Truth brings about a just, right and peaceable outcome.  It generally does not come from man because our personal views are based so often on life circumstance not on teaching.  We struggle to be able to see what works for us and if that works we attempt to create a mold in which all must fit.  That is not truth.  It is our own particular system of rationalization.  We see what works and we replicate it repeatedly.  Or perhaps we are of those who seek truth and feel that we have hit the mother lode.  We glean a few ideas and from there we create an ideology that seems correct to us.  We convince others that this has to be right. Soon they become believers as well.  But we forget the original reason for our belief system and we tend to just cull it down to one or two things that play well to the population at large.  Soon we have a movement of people who have become narrow-minded and radically judgmental.  They feel that everyone should step into line their line.  This is the danger of humanity deciding what is best for all.  How little we understand the lives of others!  How narrow our intellect, as we observe practices of others and judge them based on our own beliefs!  What right do we have to make such judgments?   We become no better than we perceive "others" to be.  It is a trap that we dare not fall into!  It is a trap designed to enslave us and how sad that many have eagerly jumped in thinking all is right.  The reality is that humankind has only one enemy.  He has been with us since before creation.  He knows our every thought, weakness and  move because he often instigates them.  He is smarter than we are.  He is wiser and millions of years older.  He has brought destruction to other societies before ours and is salivating at the possibility of what he can accomplish now.  So far, he has put us in the position he likes most.  Division- "A house divided against itself cannot stand."  We stand around pointing our fingers at this person, or this company, or that system falling into the next trap-Distraction.  We have become distracted and forgotten why we are here.  Jesus did not come to pull down governments much to the disappointment of His followers.  He came to heal not only bodies but societies as well.  We need to get our eyes off of what we piously think are the problems which only further entrap us in the great net the enemy of our soul has devised and begin to focus on our own personal relationship  with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.  It is the destroyer who came to destroy.  Christ came to restore.  What are you doing?
